Summary
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Carolina Lakes Golf Course Shaw AFB, SC.

Duties
Help
Performs a wide variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of golf course operations. Responsibilities include compilation of inventory and sales reports; preparation of time and attendance records; coordination with vendors and concessionaires; and management of cash collection and income distribution. Prepares daily cashier reports and makes deposits. Maintains subject matter files, regulations, directives, and ensures updates are applied as appropriate. Completes required training and obtains a Government Purchase Card; responsible for paying facility bills and maintaining accurate financial records. Compiles employee schedules and inputs data into the automated timekeeping system. Processes incoming inventory, including receiving, pricing, tagging, and preparing merchandise for display in the pro shop. Conducts month-end inventories, completes associated documentation, and performs surprise cash counts. Receives and logs correspondence and appropriately routes incoming communications. Attends staff meetings, records minutes, and prepares summaries for management review. Directs the function of the golf course in the absence of the manager, ensuring continuity of operations and compliance with established policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty that includes weekends, holidays, and evenings.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Highly desirable - clerical, administrative, and sales experience within a golf course environment or related recreational industry. Experience in customer service, point-of-sale procedures, inventory management, and daily facility workflow. Possess typing skills and demonstrate proficiency in computer software programs, including word processing and Excel spreadsheet applications. Proficiency in Golf Prophet Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and the ability to accurately process transactions, manage inventory, and generate required reports is highly desired. Be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check (NACI).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Education
