The Medical Director at SEROTONIN Anti-Aging Centers, is responsible for overseeing medical operations of the Center. The duties include: review healthcare laws and regulations to be complied with in center practices, implement and oversee medical protocols, monitor facility or department budgets and develop strategies to improve communication between medical professionals and clients. 
*Candidate must live in and be licensed to practice in the state of South Carolina and be willing to obtain DEA license with center's address. Ideal candidate is experienced in hormone therapy, medical weight loss and esthetics. 
 
Responsibilities 
Medical Directors oversee the operation and success of medical, clinical training and prescriptive/lab service. 
Some of their typical daily duties include:
·         Collaborate with medical team members
·         Assist in the training and promotion of medical team members
·         Ensure that the medical team members and Center comply with the federal rules, regulations and codes
·         Enhance cooperation between physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants and relevant medical departments/services
·         Foster healthy relationships with medical suppliers as a way of keeping the Center stocked and fully operational
·         Evaluate the coordination of the medical team to ensure the success of the Center
·         Ensure the licenses/certifications are up to date, thus preventing the prosecution or termination of the Center’s services to the public
·         Delegation of prescriptive authority
·         Regular chart review
·         Available in person or telecommunication for consultation for medical problems, complications, emergencies, or client/member/guest referral
·         Will have the skills and training to supervise Center’s medical practitioners
·         Delegation of medical activities or task to medical team members or other personal as allowed.
