Job description

The Wealth Operations Assistant I is responsible for assisting with a variety of administrative and operational tasks, ensuring smooth processing of client transactions and accurate record-keeping. This position will provide back-up coverage and support within the Wealth Management department when needed.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assists with processing of wires, distributions, deposits, and check printing to ensure timely and accurate client transactions.
  2. Updates market values and cost basis information in trust software system per monthly, quarterly and annual schedules.
  3. Inputs and updates client information in trust software system, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring data integrity.
  4. Processes ACH transactions for trust clients, both incoming and outgoing, per their request.
  5. Reconcile daily trade settlements and cash transactions for mutual fund, stocks, and dividends received.
  6. Balance daily transactions, incoming and outgoing, at the end of each day.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, required.
  • 1-2 years' related experience as a trust assistant, or similar financial services position, preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Honesty and respect for confidential information.
