Job description

Description:

JF Petroleum Group is seeking a Service Analyst to support the service organizationโ€™s operations and pricing initiatives. The primary focus of this role is the integrity and administration of our service contracts and pricing tables. You will serve as the foundational link between our contracts and our bottom lineโ€”organizing agreements, monitoring expirations, and auditing system administration to ensure total accuracy. You will be the first point of contact for internal service pricing questions and must be able to translate complex data sets into actionable business insights. As a secondary priority, this role provides operational support through data analysis and incentive plan administration as time allows.

Core Responsibilities: Pricing & Contract Administration

  • System Maintenance: Maintain and update system pricing tables in Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC14), including contracts, covered locations, and entitlements.
  • Strategic Yield Analysis: Perform comprehensive audits of the existing customer base to categorize and rank accounts by current bill rates, service frequency, and regional complexity.
  • Inflationary Oversight: Track and analyze historical rate increase dates to identify accounts due for adjustment, ensuring no contract falls behind the annual inflationary curve.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Update and maintain the database of existing contracts; monitor expiration dates and proactively initiate the renegotiation process.
  • Project Management: Lead the contract renegotiation workflow and ensure all internal stakeholders (Sales, Ops, Finance) are aligned on terms.
  • Quality Control: Audit system pricing and invoices for accuracy and consistency to eliminate billing friction and margin leakage.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform additional pricing-related data exercises as requested by leadership.

Secondary Responsibilities: Service Analysis (As Time Allows)

  • Incentive Management: Administer technician incentive plans and bonus programs to ensure accurate payouts and alignment with operational goals.
  • Reporting: Create and maintain operational dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators.
  • Leadership Support: Prepare monthly operational slide decks and visual data presentations for management meetings.
  • Operational Mapping: Maintain internal and external operational maps to assist with regional strategy and resource allocation.

What You Bring

  • Insatiable Intellectual Curiosity: You donโ€™t just move data; you seek to understand the "why" behind the numbers.
  • Organizational Aptitude: An incredible ability to bring order to chaos and manage multiple moving parts without losing track of details.
  • Technical Agility: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power Pivot, and Power Query. You must be highly proficient in merging and manipulating large, disparate data sets.
  • Outcome-Oriented Mindset: The ability to manipulate data with a clear eye for what the business result needs to be.
  • Proactive Ownership: A demonstrated ability to manage projects with minimal supervision and address issues before they become bottlenecks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from field personnel to executive leadership.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • Advanced skills in other Microsoft Office products, specifically MS Excel, required
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central is a plus
  • Experience with Power BI and Power Query
  • Proven ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks
  • Superior interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, exceptional grammar, business writing, and presentation preparation skills
  • Ability to achieve goals with minimal supervision
  • Physical Requirements: include occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

* We are only interested in local candidates that can commute to the office as relocation will not be provided.

* JF does not sponsor candidates at this time.

JF Petroleum offers:

  • Competitive pay
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • Health benefits (eligible 1st of the month following 30 days) including Medical, Vision, Dental, Disability
  • Life insurance-company provided
  • Bonus program eligibility
  • Paid training for field personnel
  • Uniforms provided for field personnel
