Job description

 SUMMARY 

Mortenson is currently seeking a Field Operations Administrator responsible for onboarding, training, and maintaining records for craft team members, as well as providing overall training and quality support to the geographic office and project teams. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Deliver field orientation to craft new hires 

  • Train new project admins

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of new hire paperwork 

  • Maintain applicant log and Good Faith Efforts records 

  • Project, schedule, and coordinate craft training classes 

  • Reserve venues, equipment, and catering for training 

  • Prepare and distribute training materials; set up and clean up rooms 

  • Maintain training records and post to MortU if required 

  • Assist with team member projections, pre-screening, and onboarding 

  • Resolve payroll issues and manage IT accounts for field leaders 

  • Support Safety and Quality programming logistics and communications 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Minimum of four years' experience in administrative support 

  • Minimum of two years' experience in construction or related industry 

  • Knowledge of general safety protocols in construction 

  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy 

  • Excellent planning and organization skills 

  • Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills 

  • Project management, leadership, and business skills 

  • Problem-solving skills and ability to balance multiple priorities 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information 

  • Strong facilitation, speaking, and presentation skills 

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 

  • Active listening and effective communication skills 

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

The base pay range for this role is $59,300 MIN - $80,000 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). 

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
