Performance Management Lead - Decatur, IL OR any Plant Located within the United States.
This is an exempt position.
Job Responsibilities:
ADM is seeking a data-driven Performance and Operations Management Lead to own performance analysis, insights, and action planning across our Global Wheat Milling, Ag Services and Golden Peanut network. This high-visibility role sits within operations leadership and serves as a developmental pathway toward Plant Manager, Senior Manager, or Regional Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end performance reporting (KPIs, dashboards, scorecards) across Global Wheat Milling, Ag Services and Golden Peanut sites
  • Analyze throughput, yields, energy/chemical usage, operating costs, downtime, and OEE/TEEP to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Partner with site and regional leaders to set targets and lead site-level action plans
  • Bridge operations and finance - lead cost/variance analysis and support annual planning
  • Coach Plant Managers and Regional Ops Directors on data-driven decision making
  • Drive cross-site learning and represent performance topics in senior leadership forums
  • Support capital investment proposals with financial justification and ROI modeling
  • Embed continuous improvement methodologies (Zero Loss Thinking, Root Cause Analysis) into daily operations
Required Skills:
  • Proficient in PowerBI, Excel, PI, Maximo, and SAP
  • Strong communicator, self-starter, comfortable in cross-functional, multi-site environments
  • Grain processing or industrial manufacturing experience preferred
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Engineering or related field (MBA a plus)
Required Experience:
  • 8+ years in manufacturing or operations with strong financial acumen
Desired Experience:
  • Manufacturing and/or Operations Experience
  • Accounting and/or Finance
  • Data Analytics
