Job description

Our client, a technology solutions provider company located in San Francisco, CA, needs a hybrid IT Investment Operations Program Manager for a full-time position. The IT Investment Operations Program Manager is responsible for leading complex technology initiatives supporting Investment Operations and Fund Treasury, driving operational efficiencies and enabling strategic business objectives. This role blends project management execution with program-level oversight to ensure successful delivery, seamless staff transitions, and alignment with organizational priorities.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of project and program management experience within the financial services industry, with a preference for capital markets or investment management
  • 5+ years of experience with program/project coordination, scrum report, or a similar operational role.
  • 3+ years of experience of basic data analysis/reporting skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Professional, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of project management experience
  • Ability to work onsite in San Francisco Monday-Thursday.

Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:
  • PMP, SAFe, or comparable project management certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, PI planning, and portfolio management practices
  • Experience developing dashboards in Jira and Confluence; basic SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with investment operations within a top-tier asset manager or financial services provider preferred
  • Experience using project management and portfolio tools such as Clarizen, Planview, Microsoft Project, and Jira Big Picture
  • Familiarity with transition planning, onboarding and offboarding activities, and workforce management processes
