Job description

  • Develop and execute SGC's enterprise technology strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead the Technology Center of Excellence as the organization's central technology and innovation function.
  • Serve as the executive technology advisor to the Chief Executive Officer on technology investments, innovation, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.
  • Develop multi-year technology roadmaps supporting company growth and operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
  • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams across the Technology Center of Excellence.
  • Build high-performing technical teams through recruiting, coaching, succession planning, and professional development.
  • Establish organizational standards for technical quality, consistency, and delivery excellence.
  • Promote collaboration across Emergency Management, Environmental Impact Solutions, the Project Management Office, and future business units.
  • Establish enterprise architecture, technology governance, and technical standards.
  • Ensure consistency across software development, GIS, analytics, AI, enterprise applications, and automation initiatives.
  • Lead development of reusable technology products, accelerators, templates, and proprietary intellectual property.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to enhance client service delivery.
  • Drive adoption of artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, enterprise applications, and geospatial technologies.
  • Provide executive oversight for technology-enabled client engagements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, GIS, Geography, Business Technology, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise technology, consulting, digital transformation, GIS, engineering technology, or software development.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Experience establishing enterprise technology governance and standards.
  • Experience delivering technology solutions for government or regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of: Enterprise Architecture, GIS & Geospatial Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Enterprise Applications, Cloud Technologies, Automation, Digital Transformation.
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
