Position Summary:

The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for the leadership, execution, and continuous improvement of the company's marketing operations. The position manages the planning, prioritization, execution, and successful delivery of marketing initiatives across the organization while leading assigned personnel and coordinating cross-functional teams.

This role ensures operational excellence through effective resource management, project governance, process improvement, financial oversight, and performance reporting. The Marketing Manager serves as a key member of the marketing leadership team, providing operational leadership that enables the department to execute strategic initiatives efficiently and consistently.

Accountable for the successful execution of marketing operational initiatives by ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, aligned with business objectives, and meet established quality standards. Responsible for improving departmental efficiency, resource utilization, and operational performance through measurable continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities: Marketing Operations Leadership:
  • Make operational decisions necessary to ensure successful project execution.
  • Prioritize departmental resources to meet changing business demands.
  • Own marketing workflows, SOPs, and operational best practices.
  • Recommend staffing and resource allocation.
  • Approve operational expenditures within established authority.
  • Escalate strategic issues when appropriate.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams.
  • Hold stakeholders accountable for project deliverables.
  • Own the department's project management platform ensuring data accuracy, transparency, and adoption across the team.
  • Coordinate priorities among marketing and cross-departmental
  • Resolve competing priorities and resource conflicts.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence:
  • Evaluate and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and collaboration
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting to measure operational performance.
  • Analyze project metrics, workload trends, turnaround times, and team capacity to support informed decision-making.
  • Monitor operational marketing budgets.
  • Prepare operational reports and budget summaries for leadership.
  • Directly supervise Marketing Coordinator
  • Establish performance expectations and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees for career advancement.
  • Manage workload distribution and staffing priorities.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and succession planning.
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Train team members on marketing processes, project management tools, and operational standards.
  • Support department leaders by improving visibility into project status, workload, and priorities.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Departmental Support:
  • Participate in annual marketing planning.
  • Present operational performance to leadership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, marketing coordination, or agency operations.
  • Experience managing multiple complex marketing projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and workflow optimization.
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Monday.com, Asana, Wrike, Smartsheet, or similar.
  • Ability to travel 10%
  • Must be able to work on site daily in Deerfield Beach
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience leading operational improvements within an in-house marketing or creative department.
  • Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools.
  • PMP or similar Project Management certification
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM platforms, or enterprise project management systems
