Position Overview:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations for ISS Mechanical, including monthly close, payroll oversight, work-in-progress (WIP), job costing accuracy, and leadership of the accounting team. This role ensures financial data accurately reflects operational activity in a construction and service-based environment.

The Accounting Manager partners closely with operations and leadership to maintain financial discipline, margin visibility, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Planning:Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing scope, schedule, budget, and required resources. Collaborate with clients and teams to understand project goals and specifications.
Budget Oversight:Create and manage budgets, ensuring adherence to project requirements. Monitor and report budget variances, implementing adjustments as necessary.
Scheduling Mastery:Establish and maintain project schedules, identifying critical path activities and milestones. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.
Resource Allocation:Efficiently assign tasks to project team members and subcontractors, optimizing resource utilization. Monitor resource availability and make adjustments as needed.
Quality Assurance Leadership:Implement and enforce rigorous quality control measures to ensure HVAC systems meet design specifications and industry standards. Conduct inspections and audits to uphold work quality.
Client Communication Excellence:Serve as the primary client liaison, providing transparent communication on project progress, challenges, and resolutions. Address client concerns promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership:Lead and motivate the project team, promoting collaboration and productivity. Provide guidance and support to team members.
Commissioning and Handover Oversight: Oversee the commissioning process to ensure proper testing and functionality of HVAC systems. Facilitate smooth project handover to clients.

Requirements
