Join our dynamic marketing team at Fun Spot America Theme Parks and play a key role in shaping unforgettable experiences for families across Florida. To propel this momentum forward, we are actively seeking a highly skilled Marketing Project Manager.
As the Marketing Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of various marketing projects and campaigns. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with company objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for driving results through innovative marketing strategies.
This is a full-time, salaried (exempt) position. While the standard workweek is based on a 45-hour average, actual hours may vary depending on business needs.

Reports To: Senior Vice President of Marketing
Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000
Location: Orlando, FL.
Key Objectives
  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing projects and campaigns from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and sales, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to support project execution, including assigning tasks, managing workloads, and resolving conflicts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in marketing projects, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and capture lessons learned for future projects.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Continuously optimize processes and workflows to streamline project management and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate outsourced production focusing on print and signage. Manage vendor relationships, understand specs and pricing, and keep detailed records.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Campaign Execution:
  • Serve as the central point of coordination for project management within the marketing team, as well as with external vendors/partners, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Manage a robust project tracking process (via Monday.com), setting clear timeframes for milestones and final deadlines, and overseeing progress from inception to final deliverables.
  • Oversee the coordination of marketing material production, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, and maintaining consistency in messaging and visual identity.

Event Coordination:
  • Assist and support the planning and execution of special events, promotions, and partnerships to drive park attendance, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Oversee the coordination logistics for on-site activations, ensuring a seamless guest experience and maximizing engagement opportunities.

Production:
  • Develop work-back schedules, manage milestones, and coordinate pre-press through post-press finishing.
  • Source external print vendors, negotiate pricing, and procure competitive bids for various campaigns and projects.
  • Review proofs and ensure all brand guidelines and color profiles are accurate.
  • Track and reconcile print budgets, manage billing, and seek cost-saving opportunities.
  • Facilitate invoice submissions for all signage production costs.

Collaboration:
  • Alignment with Business Objectives: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations and sales, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives and strategies.
  • Effective External Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to effectively execute marketing initiatives and leverage external expertise.
  • Motivation and Guidance for Team Success: Motivate and guide team members to meet project deadlines, instilling a sense of urgency and commitment to achieving marketing milestones.

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing project management, with a minimum of 4-8 years experience in an advertising agency and/or corporate marketing department
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional marketing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of website content management systems (CMS) - preferably Wordpress CMS
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Asana, Monday.com, Workamajig, Workfront, or Jira. (Monday.com preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, with a particular emphasis on advanced Excel skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and impactful marketing solutions.
  • Compliance with Fun Spot America Theme Parks drug-free workplace policy, including consent to pre-employment drug testing and adherence to federal, state, and local laws regarding drug and alcohol use.
  • Successfully undergo a comprehensive background check

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Ability to move throughout the parks to communicate with different departments and team members to oversee project completion.
