Job Summary:
360 IT Professionals Inc. is a leading name in the software development industry, providing innovative business solutions to clients in Silicon Valley. They are seeking a Data Analyst with a strong analytics background to support corporate sales reporting and analytics needs, driving data-driven insights from operational data and partnering with business and technology teams to define and execute data analytics initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Partners with operational business stakeholders to identify key initiatives and execute solutions to business problems using data analysis and advanced analytics
• Extracts data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models and project development; completes ad-hoc reporting and data analysis
• Communicates and coordinates frequently with business stakeholders and technology teams
• Develops and validates evaluation metrics, KPIs, Targets, Reports and models to analyze business performance and areas of opportunity
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (statistics, engineering, business analytics, computer science, information systems or related degree)
• Passionate about data analytics, strong strategic and critical thinking, problem-solving skills
• Experience working with large datasets and reporting or visualization tools, ability to tell a story using data
• Experience with Airline Corporate Sales and operations
• Ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations on current and future business needs
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts in a clear, precise and actionable manner
• Familiarity with database interface tools, SQL and programming concepts
• Experience with statistical tools and concepts (R, SPSS, SAS)
Preferred:
• Experience with Oracle/Exadata, Teradata, AWS Redshift/Hadoop, Splice open source data platforms
• Experience with Business Objects-Crystal Reports or Ab Initio for reporting
• Experience with Tableau, Spotfire, Alteryx or other visualization tools
• Experience with statistical analysis and modeling including linear regression, segmentation, non-linear predictive (e.g. logistic) regression and machine learning
