Job Description:
Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue that mission.
The Role:
Our site is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support Entegris by partnering across R&D, Materials Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Digital teams to ensure critical data is defined, structured, and transformed into usable, trusted, and sustainable datasets.
As a batch chemical manufacturer serving the semiconductor industry, we require the highest standards of quality, traceability, and control. The Data Analyst in this role will play a critical part in improving data health, enabling analytics and digital solutions, and ensuring future-state data sustainability by standardizing data definitions, collaborating with IT on improving data pipelines, and strengthening the processes and tools that generate and manage data.
Entegris is a mid-sized company that values learning, growth, and professional development. This position bridges business process knowledge, continuous improvement, and analytics by translating prioritized business data needs into meaningful analysis, dashboards, insights, and governance practices that enable decision-making, operational excellence, and digital transformation.
What You'll Do:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (R&D, Materials Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, CI, and Digital/IT) to understand business processes and define critical data elements, metrics, and data requirements.
  • Translate business and operational needs into well-defined, structured, and governed processes, resulting in reliable data sets that enable analytics, reporting, and digital solutions.
  • Work with the IT Data team to Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines that transform raw data into curated, usable datasets aligned to business priorities.
  • Improve data quality, consistency, and usability by identifying gaps, root causes, and process issues impacting data health.
  • Drive improvements to data generation processes and tools to ensure future data is sustainable, standardized, and fit for purpose.
  • Use Power Automate, Power Apps, and the Power Platform to streamline and unify data-collection systems into automated, scalable workflows.
  • Design and deliver scalable web applications using Python frameworks, ensuring intuitive user experiences and robust backend data integration.
  • Develop data systems connected to internal platforms, APIs, and analytics pipelines to enable streamlined workflows.
  • Establish and reinforce data standards, definitions, and documentation to enable alignment and shared understanding across teams.
  • Collaborate with analytics, digital, and IT teams to ensure data foundations support advanced analytics, automation, and digital initiatives.
  • Prioritize data work based on business value and critical data needs, balancing near-term use cases with long-term data health.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by enabling fact-based problem solving through accessible, reliable data.
  • Reinforce ownership and stewardship of data across functions to ensure improvements are embedded and sustained.

What We Seek:
  • B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Three to five years' experience (or more) in data analysis, web application development, analytics or data enablement within a manufacturing, quality, or operational environment.
  • Strong experience with SQL, data-lake architectures, and ETL pipelines, including supporting data-model development, debugging data-flow issues, and managing deployment of end-to-end data solutions.
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills in Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI) for web application development.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking skills with the ability to connect business processes to data structures and flows.
  • Experience creating dashboards (Python, Power BI), reports, and curated datasets that support analytics and decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data concepts to non-technical audiences and influence without authority.

Required Experience:
  • Experience developing web applications for data collection, including consolidating multiple data-entry interfaces into a unified, efficient, and user-friendly platform.
  • Data discovery and definition (understanding source systems, data generation processes, and business context).
  • Data analysis and transformation to create clean, usable, and scalable datasets.
  • Improving data quality through process, tooling, and governance improvements.
  • Partnering with business and technical teams to prioritize and deliver business processes and data solutions aligned to business needs.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, quality, R&D, or regulated environments where data accuracy and traceability are critical.
  • Proficiency with Power Automate, Power Apps, and the Power Platform, including designing automated workflows, building custom apps, integrating connectors, and optimizing end-to-end data-collection processes.
