Capable of thriving on turning operational data into actionable insights?

Do you enjoy visiting sites and collaborating with local teams, vendors, and national OEMs to drive performance?

Can you build data-driven strategies that support long-term business goals, not just short-term fixes?

Are you able to create value through teamwork, transparency, and continuous improvement?

If so, our client is looking for an initiative-taking and detail-oriented Data Analyst who will focus on MHE and is ready to make an impact. Not just through analytics, but by helping shape the future of our mobile equipment strategy across the network.

About the Role

You will be part of a cost-focused team that leverages data to drive sustainable savings, optimize fleet performance, and support full-cycle asset management. As a Data Analyst, you will be a key contributor in analyzing telemetry, maintenance, and operational data for forklifts, reach trucks, and other industrial vehicles. Your insights will help guide strategic decisions around equipment utilization, refresh planning, and vendor performance.

What You Will Do
  • Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Support implementation and optimization of telemetry systems across sites
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor MHE utilization, uptime, and maintenance metrics
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Procurement to validate cost avoidance and savings initiatives
  • Assist in building business cases for equipment refreshes and technology upgrades
  • Provide insights into direct and indirect operating costs, including hardware, subscriptions, and service contracts
  • Participate in quarterly and annual reviews with data-driven recommendations
  • Travel to sites as needed to support data validation, stakeholder engagement, and project alignment
Job Requirements Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred
  • Familiarity with KPI development and SLA tracking
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
  • Experience with telemetry or IoT systems
  • Familiarity with SAP platforms
  • Understanding of MHE lifecycle, maintenance practices, and cost modeling
