About the Job

Our client is seeking a Property Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day management of a major retail property in Montréal. Reporting to the Property Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring smooth administrative, operational, financial, and tenant-related activities.

The successful candidate will act as a central point of contact between tenants, vendors, and internal teams while helping maintain efficient site operations and delivering excellent service.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Property Manager, the Operations Coordinator provides operational and administrative support for a commercial property portfolio. The role includes coordinating tenant requests, maintaining records, supporting financial processes, and preparing operational reports. The position also assists with budgeting activities, tenant transitions, and vendor coordination. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and effective stakeholder communication.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate tenant requests and operational service follow-up.
  • Maintain administrative records, databases, and documentation.
  • Support accounts receivable processes and invoice administration.
  • Compile and analyze data for reports, budgets, and performance tracking.
  • Assist with annual budgeting and operating expense monitoring.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and relocations.
  • Liaise with tenants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of work.


Desired Candidate

  • College diploma in Administration, Property Management, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within commercial real estate.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial leases and Yardi is considered an asset.
