The Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) is a service agency supporting the county's 23 school districts that serve nearly 430,000 students. RCOE provides administrative support to districts, leads programs for preschool, special education, pregnant minor, corrections, migrant, and vocational students, and offers professional training, support and resources for teachers, administrators, and staff throughout Riverside County.
Job Summary
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The job of Instructional Assistant, State Preschool (Level III) is done for the purpose(s) of assisting in the supervision and instruction of preschool aged children (2-5+) ; performing classroom clerical tasks; assisting children in meeting health and nutrition needs, developing daily living skills and developing children's cognitive, physical and emotional skills.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Copy of Transcript (Copy of legible transcripts must be attached to your application, showing successful completion of 12 semester units of ECE/CD coursework from a regionally accredited college/university. (Must attach transcripts showing grades earned - Diploma copies will not be accepted)
  • Food Handler's Certificate (Valid California Riverside County Food Handler Card issued by the County of Riverside County Department of Environmental Health is required. **Please be advised that mail service exams/certifications such as ServeSafe are not valid in Riverside County and cannot be accepted.** https://riverside.statefoodsafety.com/)
