The Department of Political Science at Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Open Rank Professor position in International Relations, beginning August 1, 2027.
We seek a scholar focused on the relationship between emerging computational technologies and conflict processes/security studies. A particular priority would be strong methodological training, including quantitative, computational, formal, experimental, text-as-data, simulation-based, or mixed-method research. This hire would support the Department of Political Science's undergraduate and graduate teaching in international relations and political methodology.
Basic Qualifications
Candidate should demonstrate active research agendas with the promise for publication in high-quality venues and strong teaching credentials. In addition to maintaining an ongoing research program, this faculty member would be expected to teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to participate actively in departmental activities.
