Join Our Team as a Superintendent!
W.R. Dunkin & Son, Inc. is looking for a skilled Superintendent to join our growing team. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are ready to contribute to exciting projects, we'd love to meet you!
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the construction, quality, and safety of projects under his/her supervision. You will represent the company in a professional and courteous manner, while maintaining the high standards for which W. R. Dunkin & Son, Inc. is known.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure work is completed per schedule and within the budget.
  • Maintain necessary paperwork and keep accurate records.
  • Perform assigned work in accordance with OSHA, Customer and W. R. Dunkin & Son, Inc. Safety Standards.
  • Maintain all of the company's tools and equipment in a secure manner.
  • Overall coordination with all subcontractors onsite and running weekly subcontractor meetings.
  • Daily communication and providing updates with the Project Manager and Owner Representative
  • Organizing and managing crews for self-performed tasks.
  • Maintain currency in First Aid and CPR training.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork.
  • Counsel field employees in W. R. Dunkin & Son, Inc. Quality Policy awareness.
  • Attend bi-annual superintendent quality improvement team meetings.

What We're Looking For
  • Knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints.
  • Job scheduling & allotted time.
  • Utilizing project management software for daily reports, safety reports, and reviewing project documents
  • Knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
  • Supervisor Quality Improvement Procedures.
  • Working knowledge of tools & equipment.
  • Manpower scheduling & allotment.
  • 5 years working in the construction industry.
  • OSHA "Ten" for the Construction Industry certification (to be completed in the first year of employment).
  • Current First Aid /CPR certification.

Location: This position requires the candidate to work on-site in the Anderson, IN area.
