Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable HVAC Instructor to inspire and educate the next generation of HVAC professionals. In this role, you will deliver engaging classroom instruction and provide hands-on training to students pursuing careers in HVAC. Your expertise will empower students with practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for success in residential and light commercial sectors. Join us in shaping skilled technicians.

Duties

  • Deliver engaging classroom lessons on HVAC principles, electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, and industry safety standards
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions
  • Assess student progress through evaluations, practical demonstrations, and written exams
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages adult education principles and supports diverse learning styles
  • Collaborate with industry partners to ensure curriculum relevance and facilitate career opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and certifications earned

Skills

  • 8+ years of HVAC experience (Required)
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and maintenance procedures
  • Experience in curriculum development tailored to technical trades and adult education settings (preferred)
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and industry regulations
  • Excellent teaching skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively
  • Ability to adapt instructional methods for classroom experience or hands-on training environments
