Project Management Specialist - Lafayette Service Center
Join a team where customer relationships, project coordination, and problem-solving come together to drive successful programs from start to finish. In this role, you'll serve as a key connection point between customers, internal teams, and vendor partners keeping projects on track, communication clear, and expectations aligned.
What You'll Do as a Project Management Specialist:
  • Successfully navigates complex customer conversations using sound judgment, professionalism, and advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Facilitates clear communication and collaboration across program teams, customers, internal departments, business units, and vendor partners.
  • Tracks project schedules, budgets, billing, delivery dates, special requirements, and overall program status using internal and external business systems.
  • Develops accurate product costing from Bills of Materials while ensuring engineering change levels are current in company data systems.
  • Builds strong customer relationships by providing order and program updates, gathering feedback, and aligning budget objectives with customer expectations.
  • Supports project success by identifying risks, contributing to recovery plans, following company policies and values, practicing responsible social media conduct, and completing required cybersecurity training.

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • College level coursework and/or equivalent 4 + years relevant work experience
  • 4+ years' experience in customer engagement, material sourcing and/or engineering.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, quality and production control, and planning processes
  • Demonstrates computer skills and aptitude, Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Strong written, verbal communication, interpersonal and customer contact skills

What to Expect in This Role
  • Occasional Travel required
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm (flexibility to meet customer needs)
