Job description

Position will reside in either Stillwater, OK or the Oklahoma City Metropolitan area.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Pricebook Assistant position requires detailed analytical skills, superior organization, and the ability to work independently, while accuracy is at a premium. The Pricebook Assistant will be tasked with entering, editing, and deleting data for the Point of Sale (POS) system. The position requires the talent to multi-task and work with different personnel levels within and outside of the organization.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Enter, update, and maintain item pricing, cost, and promotional data in the Pricebook accounting system
  • Coordinate with Category Managers to obtain approvals for new items, pricing changes, and promotions while maintaining required margins
  • Build, update, and communicate promotional and pricing changes to store locations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Universal Product Code (UPC) scanning, pricing, and data issues at the store level in a timely manner
  • Import and maintain vendor data across multiple databases, ensuring accurate retails, costs, and item authorization
  • Generate operational reports, track margin impacts, and effectively communicate results to management
  • Manage vendor rebate programs, including deciphering complex rebate agreements, creating rebate programs, and ensuring timely payment collection
  • Build and test promotions create billings and track payment associated with the promotion
  • High level of self-motivation with the ability to proactively manage workload, investigate issues independently, identify opportunities for improvement, and initiate and follow through on all responsibilities
  • Support management and the executive team with special projects as needed

  • Efficient alpha-numeric data entry skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure while completing tasks in full
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Superior teamwork and customer service abilities
  • Strong expertise related to organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to change with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Possess a high level of integrity and professionalism

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to travel short and long distances
