As our Manager of Global Onboarding, you will own the full lifecycle of Hasbro's onboarding experience, from strategy and design through implementation and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Director of Learning & Development, you will build a world-class onboarding program that connects new hires to our culture, equips them with the tools to succeed quickly, and sets a strong foundation for long-term engagement and growth.
This is a rare opportunity to build something significant from the ground up. You will be the single accountable owner of global onboarding at Hasbro, shaping first impressions for employees at every level and every location around the world. This position will be onsite Tuesday-Thursday either our Boston, MA or Renton, WA office locations.
What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the end-to-end owner of Hasbro's global onboarding experience, responsible for strategy, design, implementation, and ongoing optimization.
  • Build a scalable, consistent onboarding framework that works across geographies, functions, and levels, from individual contributors to people managers and senior leaders.
  • Design a Day 1, Week 1, and 30/60/90-day journey and capstone quarterly event that connects new hires to Hasbro's mission, culture, and business priorities from day one.
  • Develop and maintain all onboarding content including facilitator guides, participant materials, digital resources, and manager toolkits.

Drive Program Implementation
  • Lead the operational delivery of all onboarding programs, including coordinating logistics, managing vendor relationships, facillitation and ensuring a consistently excellent new hire experience.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Facilities, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless pre-boarding and Day 1 readiness for new hires globally.
  • Manage onboarding technology and digital platforms, including LMS administration, content libraries, and virtual onboarding tools.
  • Build repeatable processes, templates, and documentation to support consistent execution across regions and functions.

Partner & Collaborate Across the Organization
  • Build strong relationships with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and functional leaders to ensure onboarding reflects the real needs of the business and its people.
  • Collaborate with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Belonging & Inclusion teams, and Communications to embed cultural connection and belonging into the onboarding journey.
  • Act as the go-to expert and internal consultant on onboarding best practices, advising teams on how to integrate role-specific and functional onboarding with the enterprise program.
  • Bring a flexible, team-first mindset. Willing to step in and support other L&D work streams as business needs arise, contributing to the broader success of the People & Culture function.

Measure, Report & Continuously Improve
  • Define and track success metrics for onboarding effectiveness, including new hire engagement, time-to-productivity, and 30/60/90-day retention.
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from new hires, managers, and stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce clear, data-driven reporting on onboarding outcomes for HR leadership and business partners.
  • Stay current on onboarding trends, emerging technology, and industry benchmarks, bringing fresh ideas that keep Hasbro's program best-in-class.

What You'll Bring:
  • 5-8+ years of experience in Learning & Development, HR, Talent, or a related function, with demonstrated ownership of onboarding or new hire experience programs.
  • A track record of building and scaling onboarding or learning programs that are practical, engaging, and measurable.
  • Strong program management skills. Able to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and cross-functional dependencies with clarity and follow-through.
  • Confident facilitator that is able to lead engaging in-person and virtual onboarding sessions for diverse audiences, including large groups and cross-functional cohorts."
  • Experience working in a global or matrixed organization, with an understanding of how to adapt programs for different geographies and audiences.
  • Solid instructional design instincts and content development skills, including building facilitator guides, participant materials, and digital learning assets.
  • Comfort with onboarding and learning technology, including LMS platforms, digital onboarding tools, and virtual facilitation environments.
  • Excellent communication skills. Able to build relationships across levels, facilitate sessions confidently, and present data and insights to senior stakeholders.
  • A high level of ownership and initiative. You are energized by building things from scratch and take pride in a seamless new hire experience.

  • Experience designing onboarding for a global, consumer-facing, or creative industry organization.
