Senior SAP Ariba SCC Project Manager

Location: Corona, CA - Onsite at least 4 days a week (Monday Thursday) - Prefer local candidates or those willing to relocate.

Start Date: October 1st, 2025

Duration: 6 Months Contract-to-Hire (Open for Direct Hire as well)

A Senior SAP Ariba SCC Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing end-to-end SAP Ariba implementation and enhancement projects, specifically focused on supply chain collaboration functionalities. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Ariba modules, strong project management skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The role also involves close collaboration with stakeholders, managing project teams, and ensuring successful project delivery within established timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

  • Leading and managing SAP Ariba SCC implementation and enhancement projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, and monitoring.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication, facilitating collaboration between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  • Working with business users to understand their needs, translating them into functional specifications and system configurations, and ensuring alignment with project goals.

Solution Design and Configuration:

  • Designing and configuring SAP Ariba SCC modules, including integration with other SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA) and external systems.

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Developing project plans, managing timelines, allocating resources, and tracking progress against established milestones.

Risk Management:

  • Identifying potential risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies, and proactively addressing challenges to ensure project success.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Overseeing system testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing to ensure system reliability, accuracy, and performance.

Change Management:

  • Managing user training, communication, and adoption of the new system to ensure a smooth transition.

Team Management:

  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members and project resources, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Monitoring system performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize the system's effectiveness.

Skills and Experience: - SAP Ariba Expertise:

  • Deep knowledge of SAP Ariba modules, including Supply Chain Collaboration, Sourcing, Contracts, Procurement, and Supplier Management.

Project Management Experience:

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex SAP projects, including experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA integration.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with SAP Ariba configuration, integration with other SAP modules (S/4HANA), and data migration processes.

Business Acumen:

  • Understanding of procurement, supply chain, and finance processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Leadership and Mentoring:

Education and Qualifications:
