Job Title: Project Manager
Job Location: Pomona, CA 91768
Job Duration: 18 Months
Shift/Schedule: Hybrid 2 days in the office
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Project Management oversight and function direction for the project team and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including scoping and project initiation, planning and design, permit and easement acquisition, civil and electrical construction, and project close-out activities.
  • Collaborate with internal project stakeholders and organizations, as well as external city/county/regulatory clients and customers, to build and maintain positive relationships, remove roadblocks, and resolve design, permitting and construction issues, and resolving easement and property issues.
  • The successful completion of work to both project budget and schedule as well as Project Management’s operational targets, performance metrics and annual budget targets.
  • Utilizing project controls in exercising budget and schedule management, forecasting, and performance monitoring such as variance analysis; maintaining schedules and project plans; identifying trends, forecasting costs-at-completion, and assess performance against budget targets.
  • Maintaining a safety conscious work environment by following safety protocols and safe work practices; and performing other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Seven or more years of project management and/or project management support experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Project Management Certification.
  • Experience in any of the following areas: engineering, construction, utilities, and/or substations.
  • Experience using project management tools such as P6.
  • Experience reviewing, updating and preparing reports, documents, or correspondence for internal and external customers to provide project updates and status with attention to detail.
  • Experience creating and maintaining records, logs, documents, files, or databases for use in monitoring, tracking, and trending program/project costs, budget and production variance, resources, schedules, and status for management with attention to detail.
  • Experience performing risk analysis, gathering documents and researching data on assigned topics, using databases, files, spreadsheets, or other sources.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects/assignments concurrently with minimal oversight under tight timelines.
  • Ability to integrate work across relevant areas, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
