Safety Program Coordinator
Position Summary
Bengal is seeking an experienced Safety Compliance & Training Coordinator to support employee onboarding, training, credential management, and workforce compliance.
This position works closely with Safety, Recruiting, Operations, Payroll, employees, and outside providers to ensure employees are properly screened, trained, documented, and cleared for work.
Hands-on experience with Alliance Safety Council and DISA is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain employee records, eligibility, and rosters within Alliance Safety Council and DISA.
  • Schedule and coordinate required training, including Safety Council, MSHA, OSHA 10/30, Security Passport, NCCER, NCCCO, and site-specific orientations.
  • Maintain employee certifications, assessments, and training records in FCC.
  • Run monthly FCC reports to identify upcoming expirations and coordinate required renewals or recertifications.
  • Assist with onsite new-hire onboarding and ensure required documentation is completed.
  • Create and maintain employee electronic files in SharePoint, including I-9 documentation, direct deposit forms, training cards, credentials, and certifications.
  • Submit background checks, run MVRs, coordinate drug screens, and track outstanding employee clearance requirements.
  • Coordinate weekly Cintas uniform service, including orders, exchanges, replacements, and returns.
  • Maintain safety-related spreadsheets, reports, rosters, and compliance records.
  • Communicate with employees, supervisors, training providers, and internal departments regarding missing or expiring requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience with Alliance Safety Council and DISA.
  • Experience scheduling industrial safety training and maintaining employee compliance records.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple employees, deadlines, and expiration dates simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience
  • FCC or similar training/compliance management system.
  • Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with TWIC, NCCER, NCCCO, OSHA, MSHA, Security Passport, and industrial site-access requirements.
