Who We Are

Nuro believes self-driving vehicles are the most immediate and profound opportunity for AI to drive positive change in the physical world. Safer streets, more time for what matters, and easier access to the world around us, that's why we're building a universal autonomy platform: self-driving for all roads and all rides.
Founded in 2016, Nuro is a physical AI company developing Level 4 autonomous driving technology for a wide range of vehicles, use cases, and markets. Powered by the Nuro Driver™, our universal autonomy platform enables the global mobility ecosystem to deploy autonomy at scale, from robotaxis and logistics fleets to personal vehicles.
With years of real-world deployment experience and a flexible, partner-led business model, Nuro is working toward a future where millions of autonomous vehicles powered by our technology help make everyday life safer, easier, and more connected.
Nuro has raised over $2B in capital from Uber, NVIDIA, Google, Softbank, Fidelity, T. Rowe Price, and other leading investors.

About the Role

The Talent Management Program Manager will own and evolve Nuro's talent programs and employee experiences, including onboarding, performance management, engagement, learning, and leadership development. This role will partner with stakeholders across the organization to design, launch, measure, and continuously improve scalable programs that support employee and business success.

The role will also help support the execution of Nuro's AI strategy across non-technical teams by coordinating adoption, change management, training, communications, and responsible-use practices.

This is a strategic, cross-functional role for an organized, data-informed, AI-savvy program manager who can influence without authority and translate business priorities into effective programs.

About the Work

  • Own Nuro's onboarding experience end to end, from content and communications to systems and success metrics, partnering with the People & Talent Partner who runs weekly New Hire Orientation.
  • Run both performance review cycles each year: timeline, calibration groupings, manager and employee training, and all associated communications.
  • Build and deliver learning and leadership development programs, and consult with People and business leaders on the training their specific orgs need.
  • Drive AI adoption across non-technical teams through change management, training, communications, and enablement like an AI Learning Series, workshops, office hours, and playbooks.
  • Own engagement programs and the measurement layer across all of the above, including goals, metrics, and feedback loops that show what is working and what to change.

About You

You are an experienced People, Talent, Learning, or Organizational Development professional who brings strategic thinking, strong program management, and a bias toward action and:

  • Experienced: 3+ years of program or project management experience in HR, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Leadership Development, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Strategic and organized: Able to translate business priorities into clear plans, manage multiple stakeholders and dependencies, and continuously improve programs.
  • AI-savvy: Hands-on experience using generative AI tools and the ability to evaluate use cases, create enablement resources, and support responsible adoption across teams.
  • Strong facilitator and educator: Experienced in creating content and facilitating learning experiences for adult audiences.
  • Data and detail-oriented: Comfortable using data, feedback, and metrics to evaluate effectiveness and tell a compelling story.
  • Collaborative influencer: Able to build trust and drive progress across functions and levels without direct authority.
  • Execution-oriented: Willing to move between strategic planning and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Values-driven: Demonstrates sound judgment, confidentiality, integrity, and a commitment to Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging.
  • Startup-minded: Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.

Bonus Points

  • Experience supporting AI adoption, digital transformation, or workplace technology enablement.
  • Professional HR or talent-related certification, such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.

At Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package.
