Job description

Position Overview

As a Private Duty Nurse with Centria Healthcare, you'll deliver compassionate, one-on-one care to patients in the comfort of their homes. Whether caring for a medically complex child or an adult recovering from a motor vehicle accident (MVA), you'll be making a meaningful difference every day.

Centria is the leading provider of Private Duty Nursing in Michigan, specializing in high-acuity care for clients with chronic respiratory conditions, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. We are currently looking for dedicated RNs and LPNs to join our team for several immediate openings in your area.


Current Featured Opportunities

We have immediate high-priority needs for the following cases. Whether you prefer pediatric playfulness or the stability of adult care, we have a match for you:

  • Temperance (URGENT - Pediatric): 1-year-old girl with Trach and Vent. Sweet family with siblings and two caged bunnies.
    • Nights (9p-9a), Fri/Sat.
  • Monroe (Pediatric): 5-year-old boy who loves Disney and marble runs! Trach, Vent, and G-Tube dependent. This home has 1 small dog and mom is also a nurse!
    • Days (7a-7p) Sat.
  • Hillsdale (Pediatric/Young Adult): 18-year-old female with CCHS. Requires Vent/Trach/Pacer. This lovely family has 2 small dogs.  Female nurses only.
    • Nights (10p-7:30a) Sun-Thu.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care (Trach/Vent management, G-Tube/GJ-Tube feedings, medication administration).
  • Monitor and document vitals and symptoms within our integrated EMR system.
  • Assist with ADLs (repositioning, hygiene, and mobility).
  • Collaborate with families and the clinical team to ensure superior patient outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan.
  • Experience in home health or private duty nursing preferred.
  • Trach/Vent knowledge is helpful, but we will train motivated candidates!
  • A compassionate heart and a commitment to patient-centered care.
