Job description

Position Overview
The Retail Territory Leader (Carolinas) is a field-based role responsible for covering an assigned route across North and South Carolina, with occasional travel to other markets as business needs arise. There is a preference for candidates to be currently located in Raleigh or Charlotte markets.
This position serves as the face of Daisy Brand at the retail level, educating store personnel and consumers, optimizing shelf presence, gathering competitive intelligence, and ensuring Daisy Brand remains visible and competitive in the dairy aisle. They will also ensure product freshness for all retail stores in the region. The representative's focus is on deepening relationships with existing retail partners and maximizing brand performance within those stores.
As this is a field position, the expectation is to be in-store Monday through Thursday, with Friday as a home office and administrative day.
The anticipated overnight travel requirements are on average 50% per month.
Responsibilities
  • Educate store personnel and consumers on Daisy Brand products, brand story, and competitive advantages
  • Assess and adjust shelf positioning across assigned stores and take steps to optimize placement and distribution
  • Track and report category activity, pricing, and shelf trends
  • Engage with shoppers in a natural, consultative way to understand purchasing behavior and gather feedback
  • Deliver weekly written updates summarizing store visits, market observations, and follow-up needs
  • Log in-store activity and data using field software
  • Collaborate with the broader sales team on brand initiatives and market strategies
  • Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with retailers
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in CPG, retail sales, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Repsly or another field activity management software, with ability to track record of engagement with diverse stakeholders across retail and corporate sales environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently in the field with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with retail partners and store-level personnel through establishing credibility and trust
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to drive multiple hours daily
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Ability to work in cold environments (retailers' refrigerated sections)
