Job description

The Range Safety Officer (RSO) is responsible for the safety of Sunset Hill Shooting Range customers and staff. His/her primary duty is to organize, conduct and supervise safe shooting activities and
range operations for all shooters under their supervision. The RSO will provide Range orientation for new
members, Day Pass shooters, and all other guests that enter the range. Experience a plus but not required. We will train and certify. Some USCCA and NRA certifications are required and will be offered and paid for by the company. Additional USCCA and NRA certifications are also available. Weekends are mandatory. * * *Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.
Job Responsibilities
Report to and take direction from the Chief RSO, Assistant Rangemaster and Rangemaster
Ensure strict adherence to Company Safety Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times
Monitor all activity on the shooting lanes under their supervision
Assist customers with appropriate lane and target operation
Keep work area sanitary and neat
Maintain productive relationships with established customers
Attend training as required
Work as a team player with all staff
Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with everyone
Maintain a well groomed, professional appearance at all times
