We are currently seeking a hospitality-driven PRN/On-Call Concierge who brings warmth, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to service. This role is often the first point of contact for residents, guests, prospective employees, vendors, and service providers, making it a vital part of the resident and guest experience.

As an On-Call Concierge, you will not have a set weekly schedule but will be scheduled as needed to support the community. On-Call team members assist with coverage for planned time off, vacations, call-offs, busy periods, and special events. While weekly hours are not guaranteed, individuals who demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and strong performance are often offered additional shifts and may be considered first when part-time or full-time opportunities become available.

Available On-Call Shifts (flexibility available):

Monday-Friday

  • 8:00am - 2:15pm
  • 2:00pm - 8:00pm

Saturday-Sunday

  • 8:00am - 2:15pm
  • 2:00pm - 8:00pm

What You'll Do:

  • Greet all visitors and residents with a warm, professional welcome.
  • Provide ongoing telephone coverage and support.
  • Enter maintenance work orders via TELS promptly as requests are received to ensure timely service.
  • Accept packages, log deliveries, and notify residents accordingly.
  • Assist Human Resources and other departments with clerical tasks as needed.
  • Resolve resident or visitor concerns with empathy while maintaining organizational expectations and professionalism.

Expectations:

  • You are expected to follow the Lead Concierge's directions and work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth transitions, consistent communication, and a positive resident experience across shifts.
  • Maintain a welcoming, professional, and attentive presence at the front desk at all times to ensure visibility, coverage, and support for residents, guests, vendors, and staff. If you need to briefly step away from the desk, please coordinate coverage with someone from the Business Office behind the front desk.
  • Promptly enter maintenance work orders into TELS at the time concerns are reported to help ensure timely follow-up and service from the Maintenance team.
  • Demonstrate strong follow-through, professionalism, accountability, and proactive communication when responding to resident requests, phone calls, packages, maintenance concerns, and operational needs.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while remaining calm, organized, detail-oriented, and hospitality-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively across shifts by documenting important updates thoroughly and ensuring continuity between team members.
  • Be receptive to coaching and feedback while consistently applying organizational expectations, policies, and leadership direction.
  • Professionalism, teamwork, urgency, and strong customer service are essential for success in this role.
