Job description

About Us

Capability is an EHS software and training company based in Knoxville, Tennessee. We help organizations in safety-critical industries keep their people safe and their operations compliant. A growing library of professionally produced training courses sits alongside a software platform that brings training, corrective actions, qualifications, forms, and more into one place.

About the Role

We're looking for an Office Manager to be the operational backbone of our office. This person keeps the day-to-day running smoothly: answering customer calls, emails, and chats, managing client accounts, reviewing courses for quality before they go out the door, and handling the general upkeep that keeps a small office functioning. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers and the go-to person internally when something needs to get done.

This is a great fit for someone who is organized, dependable, and genuinely likes helping people. You don't need a background in safety or EHS. You do need to be the kind of person who follows through.

What You'll Do

โ€ข Respond to customer phone calls, emails, and chat inquiries and see them through to resolution

โ€ข Manage client accounts, including onboarding, course access, enrollment requests, and ongoing support

โ€ข Perform extensive quality control reviews on courses and materials before delivery

โ€ข Coordinate with our production and marketing teams to keep projects and requests moving

โ€ข Handle general office management, including supplies, scheduling, vendor coordination, and internal processes

โ€ข Keep documentation and records organized and up to date

โ€ข Test and provide feedback on our platform to help us continuously improve it for our clients

What We're Looking For

โ€ข Experience in office management, customer support, account management, or a similar role

โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills

โ€ข Detail-oriented, especially when reviewing content or managing multiple accounts

โ€ข Comfortable learning and testing new software

โ€ข Someone who takes ownership, solves problems without being asked twice, and treats customers with patience and care

Compensation

โ€ข Full W-2 employment with health benefits

โ€ข $20 hour DOE
