Position: Office Manager Location: Ames, Iowa
Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working hard, and can keep a cheerful, calm attitude even on the busiest days? If you're ready to become a key part of a dedicated clinic team in Ames, Iowa, we want to hear from you!
About the Role: As the Office Manager, you will be the leader who ensures our clinic runs smoothly and professionally. We are looking for someone who excels at multitasking, stays positive under pressure, and works collaboratively with both staff and clients.
  • Oversee daily clinic operations.
  • Facilitate meetings and assist with training new team members.
  • Manage office supply orders.
  • Handle confidential/time-sensitive paperwork and filing.
  • Schedule client intakes, manage the waitlist, and ensure accurate records.
  • Run essential clinic reports and help achieve clinic goals.
  • Communicate with providers, clients, and external partners.
  • Support emergency procedures and maintain a well-supplied, organized office.
  • At present, this position does not have administrative staff reporting to it. However, as the clinic grows, you will lead the hiring process for any new administrative assistant roles and serve as the supervisor for those positions.

  • Attention to detail and proficiency with MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • Experience handling confidential information with care
  • Experience using an electronic health record.

Qualifications:
