Office Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Answers telephones, routes call, takes messages, and provides general information; answers routine inquiries; maintains log of inquiries as required.
  2. Opens and routes incoming mail; distributes correspondence and other material to department staff/faculty.
  3. Follows up with new employees
  4. Trains new employees on company procedures
  5. Create and implement new administrative systems
  6. Send out marketing and mailing info
  7. Various AP/AR/Payroll assistant related functions
  8. Work on multiple different online platforms
  9. Use google sheets, email, excel, and office software
  10. Manages inventory system
  11. Creates PO’s / work tickets
  12. Routes employee schedules
  13. Data entry and updates information in customer data fields inventory groups
  14. Establishes, maintains, processes, and/or updates files, records, and/or other documents.
  15. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
