Office Assistant - $15/hour 

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Office Assistant for a company in the Athens, TN area.  

Office Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Set up appointments/ answer phone calls.
  • Enter information into the property management software.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records on all accounts and files.
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, current residents, and prospective residents.
  • Prepare and execute leases/paperwork for prospects and residents.
  • Process applications, action letters, welcome letters, lease paperwork, lease files, renewal letters, renewal leases, move – out inspection forms, and violation notices.
  • Handle resident questions, maintenance request, and any other daily request.

Office Assistant Relations: 

  • Develop and maintain first-class customer service relationships with prospects
  • Manage and resolve resident concerns.
  • Monitor work orders 
  • Ensure all move-in items are addressed and ready before move-in.
  • Renew all tenants in a timely manner monthly.
  • Maintain and ensure that all residents have active renters’ insurance policies.

Office Assistant Qualifications:

  • High School or GED 
  • Computer literacy required
  • Previous leasing experience a plus
  • Attention to detail 
  • Excellent organizational skills and customer service mindset
  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • Extended periods of sitting
