Our client in the healthcare industry is currently seeking a professional, compassionate, and reliable Medical Office Assistant to join their busy blended medical practice in Southwest Calgary on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team in a patient-centred environment focused on providing exceptional care and service to patients and their families. The practice provides a range of primary care services, with a focus on maternity and newborn care, women's health, and specialized women's healthcare.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and check them in using the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients and families in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule and book patient appointments
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records
  • Complete general administrative duties, including filing, faxing, photocopying, and document management
  • Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, compassionate experience for patients and their families
  • Assist with a variety of administrative tasks to support the physicians and overall clinic operations
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced medical office environment

Requirements:
  • Medical Office Assistant (MOA) certification
  • Previous experience using ACCURO EMR is required
  • Previous experience working in a primary care or medical office setting is preferred
