SUMMARY
Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking experienced Product Manager specializing in Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365 to lead the roadmap, modernization, implementation, and optimization of enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms. This position will be part of the corporate IT team and will collaborate closely with CTO, technology team, business stakeholders, security, and executive leadership to deliver scalable digital workplace solutions that improve collaboration, document management, workflow automation, and user productivity across the organization.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Microsoft 365 technologies, strong product management capabilities, and hands-on experience managing enterprise collaboration ecosystems in complex business environments.
Responsibilities and Duties
Product Strategy & Roadmap
    • Define and manage the product roadmap, and lifecycle for Microsoft SharePoint Online and Office 365 solutions.
    • Align platform capabilities with business objectives, digital transformation initiatives, and operational priorities.
    • Identify opportunities to improve collaboration, automation, governance, and end-user experience across Microsoft 365 services.
    • Prioritize features, enhancements, modernization, and integrations based on business needs and impact.

Platform Management
    • Oversee administration and optimization of:
      • SharePoint Online administration
      • Microsoft Teams Channels administration
      • OneDrive for Business
      • Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
      • Viva learning and related Microsoft 365 collaboration tools
      • Dynamics 365 storage management
    • Lead modernization efforts from legacy file shares and SharePoint environments to latest SharePoint team environments.
    • Ensure platform scalability, reliability, security, and performance.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical and functional solutions.
    • Collaborate with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, and development teams to implement governance standards.
    • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Governance, Security & Compliance
    • Establish and maintain governance policies for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, retention policies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage permissions models, content lifecycle management, and information architecture.

User Adoption & Change Management
    • Drive adoption strategies and end-user enablement programs.
    • Develop training materials, user documentation, and communication plans.
    • Monitor user feedback and analytics to continuously improve the digital workplace experience.

Vendor & Project Management
    • Coordinate with Microsoft partners, consultants, and vendors on implementations and upgrades.
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables for platform initiatives.
    • Support Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365 products/platforms.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • SharePoint Online architecture and administration
    • Microsoft Teams and collaboration ecosystems
    • Office 365 licensing and services
    • Power Platform tools and Microsoft Copilot
    • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
    • Microsoft security and compliance capabilities
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide digital workplace or collaboration initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage product roadmaps and stakeholder priorities.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Compensation:
Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role
The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to individual and organizational performance.
