Job description

Summary

The Senior Product Manager, OEM Connectivity, is responsible for executing product initiatives that maximize the value of connectivity solutions delivered through internal and external engineering teams. This role serves as a key interface between internal teams, aircraft OEMs, partners, and customers to ensure alignment on product requirements and delivery. The position contributes to product strategy and roadmap development while driving execution of the product backlog in partnership with Product Leadership. This individual is outcome-focused and passionate about improving the connectivity experience for OEMs, airline customers, and travelers.

Core Responsibilities
  • Execute product management activities in coordination with Program Management and Product Leadership in accordance with company processes
  • Serve as a primary interface between aircraft OEMs, internal teams, external stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to ensure alignment and communication
  • Contribute to short-term and long-term product roadmaps in partnership with Product Leadership
  • Support ideation, development, and launch of connectivity products and servicesTranslate business, OEM, and customer needs into clear and actionable product requirements
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to align with program and product objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to ensure technical alignment and successful product delivery
  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user experience
  • Define and track product metrics to evaluate performance and inform decision-making
  • Ensure alignment between product development activities and program timelines
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical, mechanical, or electronics engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in product management or closely related roles supporting product development and delivery
  • Experience in inflight connectivity, satellite communication systems, or aerospace systems preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Experience working with OEMs, suppliers, and external partners
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with project or program management methodologies

The starting pay range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000 per year however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
