Hourly pay rate: $20.70 to $35.21
About the Position:
  • Operate equipment to produce man-made snow.
  • Start and shut down snowmaking guns, check snow quality, remove ice buildup, and maintain equipment.
  • Frequently work in adverse weather conditions.

Requirements:
  • Early October start with training in snowmaking equipment and procedures. Snow production begins late October or early November and continues until conditions no longer require it.
  • Seasonal positions available; employment may extend to other departments post-snowmaking season.
  • Primarily overnight shifts.
  • Assist in staffing special events.
  • Flexible, weather-driven schedules.
  • Skill development and pay scale advancement based on performance. Skills assessment after 120 operating hours may lead to a raise or promotion.
  • Must have a California Driver's License, be at least 19 years old, with a clean driving record for the past three years. Safety Sensitive position subject to drug policies.
  • Prior snowmaking experience is a plus.
