Job Summary: MaineGeneral Health is seeking a dedicated and proactive Occupational Health Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in promoting employee health and safety, preventing work-related injuries, and ensuring a healthy workplace environment.Job Description:

Position: Occupational Health Registered Nurse

Location: 21 Enterprise Drive, Augusta

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Shift: Days (M-F)

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborates with appropriate staff to develop and implement industrial and office ergonomics programs for prevention and injury evaluation.
  • Provides treatment for job-related injuries and illnesses. Ensures compliance with applicable workplace safety laws and regulations.
  • Provides review and case management services to employers regarding their employees who require outside medical attention for job-related injuries.
  • Develop and implement wellness and preventative initiatives for employees.

You Have:

  • Maine state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or the ability to obtain it in a timely fashion is required
  • At least 1 year of RN experience is required
  • Valid State of Maine Driver's License
