Salary: $47 - $62 per hour DOE

Who are you?

Security-cleared Professional: You have made it through the in-depth process of receiving a United States government security clearance congratulations! We know you are a trustworthy professional because you have an activeTop Secretsecurity clearance. Having an Active Personal Identification Verification (PIV) badge is a plus.

Seasoned Specialist: You have 7 years of experience on active construction sites. You are experienced in design and design management including development, reviews and updates, coordination, submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), version control and storage, and reporting.


Location: CONUS / OCONUS (Various Locations)

Employment: 10-99 or FTE available

Pay: $47 - $62 per hour DOE


World Traveler: You want to live overseas for extended deployments (1 4 years) and you have a valid passport, at least 6 months from its expiration date. You are up-to-date on all vaccinations, including the COVID 19 vaccination and those recommended by the CDC and WHO (or youre willing to get vaccinated for travel).


Tech Wiz: You have experience using software like AutoCAD and/or Revit. Having an Active ProjNet account and knowledge of DR Checks and the OBO IDR Review Process is a plus.


Word Wiz: You know how to walk the walk, but can you talk the talk? You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and consider yourself proficient in using Microsoft Office products.


Organized: You are also capable of tracking progress on construction by utilizing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and project plans.


Detail Oriented: You can find a needle in a haystack. You have a high level of attention to detail in your work and can produce high-quality, expert-level materials.


Knowledgeable: Your 4-years of hard work earned you a bachelors or advanced degree in Construction Management. We know you are ready for this work because you are familiar with all aspects of a typical construction project lifecycle including integration; scope management; schedule; quality control and quality assurance; communications management; cost and change controls; risk management; stakeholder engagement; managing projects, teams, resources and processes; and closeout.


Experienced: While not required for the job, you would really stand out if you have a broad knowledge and experience in commercial construction; experience in Government construction; an understanding of contract vehicles, task orders, and the know-how of responding to RFPs; and you excel at team-building activities.

The Department of State (DOS) Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) mission is to provide safe, secure, functional, and resilient facilities that represent the United States Government and securely house our mission-critical Government personnel and intel. The largest application of this mission is related to building new and renovating existing US Embassies and Consulates abroad. Fusion ESG supports this mission by providing project management and engineering services culminating in the construction management team that augments and facilitates the OBO Project Directors, Outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS). Our team provides experienced and steady construction management for functional facilities overseas that represent American values and the best in American architecture, design, engineering, technology, sustainability, art, culture, and construction execution.


What youll do:

Design, install, commission, and operate and maintain small to large government construction projects

Oversee construction crews and inspection of the installation of various systems in government greenfield and renovation projects

Create building systems designs, design reviews

Update construction monitoring and inspections

Respond to RFIs

Control and complete assigned tasks ensuring consistency with project requirements

Interface with and provide subject matter expertise to members of the project team (end-user, PD, and other government representatives, contractors, local workers, etc.)

Maintain accountability for the overall successful execution of assigned tasks

Communicate with the Fusion Technology Project Management Office (PMO) in meetings, reporting, and the timely escalation of project issues

Use and protect classified material

Attend special training on general and project specific security requirements and specialty reporting
