Responsibilities
What You'll Do

As an Armed Security Guard, you will:

  • Protect government personnel, visitors, facilities, and property
  • Control access to secured areas through credential verification and visitor screening
  •  Conduct patrols and inspect facilities to identify potential security risks
  • Monitor and respond to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity
  •  Enforce security procedures, federal regulations, and site-specific post orders
  • Respond professionally and effectively to incidents and emergency situations
  •  Maintain situational awareness and operational readiness at all times
  •  Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed reports of security activities and incidents
  • Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a strong security presence

Qualifications
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. 
  • Speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent verbal and written reports in English. 
  • Have an approved Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration. 
  • Must have an Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance. 
  • Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. 922 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age. 
  • Possess a Valid NC driver’s license and able to operate SUV style vehicles. 
  • Minimum of one year experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization. 
  • Possess a current CPR certification through the American Red Cross.  
  • Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards as set forth by US Army
Qualifications:
