We are seeking compassionate and reliable Registered Nurses who are passionate about school health and eager to contribute to student success.

Position Overview

As a School RN at TheraCare, you will provide direct nursing care to students during the school day in a variety of educational settings. Here at TheraCare, we offer Full-Time School Assignments, Daily School Assignments, and Trip Coverages. This position is perfect for RNs who are seeking a predictable weekday schedule, the opportunity to work closely with students, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the school community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Oversee the school health office including triage, injury response, and wellness checks.
  • Monitor student health conditions and respond to emergency situations.
  • Communicate with parents, school staff, and agency supervisors regarding student care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely health records in compliance with NYC DOE and NYS DOH guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to all public health protocols and nursing standards.

Qualifications:
