Through primary care and multi-specialty medical practices, the physicians and other health care professionals of NYPMG, in collaboration with ColumbiaDoctors and Weill Cornell Physicians, provide families with high quality, patient-centered care close to home in the New York metropolitan area.

Licensed Practical Nurse - NYP Medical Group Brooklyn - Urology

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care as delegated by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Contributes to the plan of patient care and assists in providing a therapeutic environment. Functions within the policies and procedures of the hospital, divisions, and the Clinical Nursing Departments.


This is a full time day (Monday- Friday/9am-5pm but must be flexible) position at NYP Medical Group Brooklyn located 38 6th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY and at if needed, float to other practice at 3041 Avenue U, Brooklyn, NY.

Preferred Criteria
  • Specialty practice experience

Required Criteria:

  • Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Current Licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State

  • Phlebotomy Skills

  • Knowledge in Principles of infection control

  • Knowledge in Principles of performance improvements

  • Knowledge in Principles of delegation
