Principal level program manager supporting New Product Development (NPD) for Advance Power Product division. Success candidate will have opportunity to work on new product development programs with JFET,  new discrete package, PIM module, EV traction module and Automotive module . Lead cross-functional teams to achieve new product development and successful new products release to market on time. Manage new product development programs, processes, deliverables and budget within project scope and success criteria.

Qualifications:

  • Plus 10 years of semiconductor sector experience or more than 5 years of project management experience mainly in semiconductor sector and PMP certification is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of silicon wafer fab and assembly processes of power devices(IGBT/FRD/JFET) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience of New Product Development process in general, utilizing related software like MS Project and Agile PLM system.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and collaborate with cross functional groups in Manufacturing/Technology Development Team/Business Unit network to accomplish critical project milestones.
  • Good track record of delivering good results in project management.
  • Well organized and excellent communication skills in English. 
  • Process oriented with emphasis on clear and documented communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • BS degree in engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to global senior program manager of new product development engineering.
  • Manage NPD projects to meet major project milestone including process frozen, customer samples delivery, qualification, release to production, and safe launch.
  • Form project team and conduct project planning as necessary and present to PRB for Plan Commit approval.
  • Organize weekly review with project team to review project progress, issues, and find ways to help team resolve the roadblocks, escalate to upper management for help as needed.
  • Conduct project phase review for project kick-off, Plan Commit after MAP Day, Re-baseline for scope change, and Cancellation with PRB or stakeholders.
  • Work with FAB/ATO MFG team for safe launch planning and execution before project closure.
  • Review and communicate program status with senior management and other stakeholders
  • Create and maintain PM program documentation (Agile), including detailed risk migration plans and RCCA/8D reports
