What We Offer
Novant Health is seeking a strategic, operationally strong, and solutions-oriented Manager of HR Technology Application Support to lead teams responsible for supporting, optimizing, and advancing enterprise Human Resources systems and applications. This role is ideal for a leader who can independently drive execution, balance operational excellence with long-term strategy, and create structure, accountability, and continuous improvement across a complex HR technology environment.
The Manager, HR Technology Application Support will provide leadership across multiple HR technology platforms, partnering across HR, IT, vendors, and operational stakeholders to improve workflows, system functionality, reporting, and user experience. This leader will serve as a key partner to HR leadership, ensuring systems, processes, and operational delivery effectively support business objectives, organizational growth, and evolving workforce needs.
This is a remote opportunity, with preference given to candidates located in a Novant Health market.
What You'll Do
What You'll Do
  • Lead and develop teams responsible for enterprise HR technology support, operational delivery, enhancements, and continuous improvement across multiple platforms and workstreams.
  • Provide strategic direction for HR systems support, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish prioritization, accountability, and operational discipline across competing operational demands, projects, stakeholder needs, and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee the support and functionality of HR technology platforms including Infor HR Talent, Workforce Management (WFM), iCIMS, iLearn, and other HR systems.
  • Partner with operational leaders and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable workflows, process improvements, and technology-enabled solutions.
  • Collaborate across HR leaders, Workforce Insights, and stakeholders to analyze operational and workforce data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities related to recruitment, retention, engagement, staffing, and compliance.
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and integrity of HR reporting, analytics, and system-generated data through coordination with data owners, reporting partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and operational problem-solving efforts, developing recommendations to improve processes, forecasting accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
  • Facilitate current and future-state workflow discussions, conduct gap analyses, and support implementation of process and technology enhancements.
  • Drive adoption of technology solutions and promote best practices related to automation, process improvement, and system utilization.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across HR, IT, and business leadership to align priorities, navigate competing stakeholder needs, and enable integrated workforce technology solutions.
  • Lead projects and operational initiatives from planning through execution, maintaining visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure HR technology platforms, system updates, and operational practices remain aligned with organizational policies, data privacy standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting HR technology platforms such as Infor HR Talent, Infor WFM, iCIMS, iLearn (Cornerstone LMS), or similar enterprise systems.
  • Experience supporting HR technology portfolios within healthcare or other large, complex, highly matrixed organizations.
  • Knowledge of enterprise HR systems, operational reporting, data integrity, and compliance considerations within complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, learning agility, and comfort operating within evolving technology and operational environments.

What We're Looking For
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Computer Science; required.
  • Experience:
    • Three years of Information Systems experience, required.
    • Three years of Management Information Systems; Broad knowledge of a variety of computer systems and technologies (Infor/GHR) experience, required.
