Job Summary:

They are seeking a Software Engineer focused on trust and security to enhance their product features and ensure user data is safe and secure. The role involves building scalable systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain trust and privacy as Notion grows.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Build authentication and other product features that make Notion safe and secure by default, helping more people and teams trust Notion for their most important work while supporting growth across consumers and enterprise customers.
โ€ข Build scalable, AI-powered systems to detect, investigate, and mitigate risks across Notion, including phishing, spam, objectionable content, scraping, private API abuse, account takeover, and other forms of fraud and abuse.
โ€ข Shape the future of AI safety at Notion by building controls and guardrails for Notion AI, custom agents, and emerging AI workflowsโ€”helping make Notion the trusted AI workspace for individuals, teams, and enterprises.
โ€ข Partner across Trust & Safety, Engineering, Security, Legal, Data, and Product to make trust, privacy, and security a core part of how Notion scales.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 5โ€“8 years of experience building or securing products.
โ€ข Experience and a strong passion for trust, safety, authentication, security, or privacy.
โ€ข Thrive in a fast-moving, unstructured environment and are comfortable taking ownership of ambiguous problems.
