Hours: This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week/ 10am-6pm / M-F)
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Campus: Evanston
Approximate start date: 8/31/2026
Approximate end date: 10/2/2026

Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Mail and Package Center Clerk for the Evanston campus.
Temporary Job Description:

For 2 positions

Participate in the distribution of inbound and campus mail. Process USPS, UPS, and FedEX shipments. Work closely with and provide excellent customer service to a diverse population of students and staff supporting Residential Services on campus. Participate in seasonal peak of opening. Must be able to lift packages up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications Required:

Detail-oriented, customer service skills, use of basic technology and software (Microsoft Office, StarRez, etc.)

In addition to salary, this temporary position is eligible for paid time off and paid sick time in accordance with Northwestern University policies. This position is not eligible for other benefits offered to regular staff positions.
