We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Positive Progression Psychology. • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients, developing a comprehensive understanding of their circumstances.
• Provide one-on-one and group counseling using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices.
• Develop tailored service plans that align with clients’ goals to facilitate meaningful progress and positive outcomes.
• Actively advocate for clients’ rights and access to necessary resources, guiding them through social justice issues relevant to their individual situations.
• Engage in program development by contributing to the evaluation process and grant reporting to better inform our service offerings.
• Build partnerships with local organizations and government agencies to strengthen our community impact and coordinate across resources.
• Participate in outreach activities and community events to raise awareness of available services and promote mental health education.

Your work will primarily serve individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, and systemic social issues. Our clients often belong to vulnerable populations, necessitating culturally competent care and an empathetic approach to treatment. You will cultivate trusting relationships with clients to foster a safe space for healing and growth.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in clinical practice.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), verifying your qualifications to provide clinical services.
• Proven experience in direct service provision, with a preference for those who have worked within a nonprofit setting, enhancing the understanding of community-focused service delivery.

• Knowledge of and experience in social justice advocacy, trauma-informed care approaches, and access to community resources that serve marginalized populations.
• Adept networking skills, with an ability to cultivate relationships with referral sources, community members, and various stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills that contribute to effective rapport-building and transformative discussions with clients.
