Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments that evaluate the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients, ensuring that each individual receives tailored support.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapies to promote positive mental health outcomes.
• Create personalized service plans outlining specific goals and strategies to address clients’ challenges and promote empowerment.
• Actively advocate for clients, helping them navigate access to essential resources, services, and legal rights, with a focus on social justice.
• Engage in program development, evaluation, and grant reporting to ensure the effectiveness of our initiatives and secure ongoing support.
• Work closely with community organizations, government bodies, and volunteers to enhance collaborative services and community outreach.
• Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and engage in community outreach activities to extend our impact.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Clinical Social Worker will primarily serve diverse populations within the Corpus Christi area, focusing on individuals and families experiencing a range of social and emotional challenges. This includes working with children, adolescents, and adults facing issues such as mental health disorders, trauma, domestic violence, substance abuse, and socioeconomic hardships. We take pride in our trauma-informed approach, ensuring that all interventions are sensitive to the unique experiences and backgrounds of our clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• Demonstrated knowledge of social justice principles, advocacy, trauma-informed care, and local community resources.
• Exceptional communication skills, along with strong empathy and organizational abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience working in a nonprofit organization or similar human services setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Compensation and Benefits
