Production Planning Coordinator (Temp-to-Hire)
1st Shift | Monday-Friday | $22+/hr | Immediate Openings
We are seeking 2 Production Planning Coordinators to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with flexible first shift hours (start between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, 8-hour workday).
Pay: Starting at $22.00/hr (higher pay may be considered for highly qualified candidates).
Responsibilities:
  • Support production planning and scheduling to ensure materials are available for manufacturing.
  • Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets, reports, and production schedules.
  • Issue production job packets and update completed orders in the ERP system.
  • Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering changes for accuracy.
  • Issue purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to prevent material shortages.
  • Assist with inventory control, receiving discrepancies, and supplier quality issues.
  • Reconcile inventory and invoices while maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, warehouse, and accounting teams to keep production running efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in production planning, purchasing, inventory control, materials management, or a similar manufacturing support role.
  • Experience working with ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
